FOUNDATIONAL SCRIPTURES

Psalm 94:7 — “Yet they say, ‘The Lord does not see, nor does the God of Jacob understand.’”
Psalm 3:2 — “Many are saying of my soul, ‘There is no help for him in God.’ Selah.”
Psalm 68:1 — “Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered…”
Isaiah 59:1 — “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.”

🕊️ SERMON: THE LIE OF INVISIBILITY & THE GOD WHO ARISES

INTRODUCTION

Beloved, there is a familiar voice that rises in seasons of pressure—a voice that whispers:

“God does not see.”
“There is no help for you.”

This is not a new lie. It is an ancient strategy of the enemy.
He used it against David.
He used it against Israel.
And he still uses it today.

But hear this clearly: God is not blind, silent, or absent.
The enemy speaks before God arises—but God always has the final word.

1️⃣ THE ENEMY’S ACCUSATION: “THE LORD WILL NOT SEE”

Psalm 94:7 reveals the arrogance of the wicked. They assume:

God is distant
God is unaware
God is inactive

But Scripture answers them:

Psalm 94:9 — “He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see?”

👉 What the enemy calls delay, God calls timing.
👉 What the enemy calls silence, God calls strategy.

2️⃣ “THERE IS NO HELP FOR HIM IN GOD” — A PSYCHOLOGICAL WAR

Psalm 3:2 shows us something dangerous:
The enemy doesn’t always attack your body first—he attacks your hope.

He wants you to believe:

You prayed too long
You missed your chance
God has moved on

But David answered that lie with truth:

Psalm 3:3 — “But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head.”

🔑 When God lifts your head, shame loses power.

3️⃣ “OH GOD, ARISE” — A PROPHETIC CRY

“Arise” does not mean God was asleep.
It means God is stepping into visible action.

When God arises:

Hidden enemies are exposed
Mockery turns to mourning
Delays turn into sudden help

Psalm 12:5 — “For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now I will arise,” says the Lord.

🔥 God arises when heaven has heard enough.

4️⃣ JESUS: THE PROOF THAT GOD SEES

At the cross, it looked like God had abandoned Jesus.
Enemies mocked Him: “He trusted God—let Him deliver Him now.”

But resurrection proved something eternal:

God may be silent on Friday, but He always arises by Sunday.

O God of David, arise in my midnight hour!
Let every voice saying “There is no help for you” be silenced by fire!
Let God arise—and let my enemies be scattered!
