SERMON: OVERTHROWING EVIL RE-STRATEGIZING

By Rachael Olorunisola

HOUSE OF PRAYER WARRIORS FOR ALL NATIONS

INTRODUCTION

As we grow spiritually, the enemy also attempts to re-strategize—to reorganize, redesign, or upgrade his attacks.
This is because what failed before, the enemy may try again through a different method.

But the good news is: every evil re-strategizing can be defeated through the Word, prayer, and spiritual discernment.

God has not called us to be ignorant of the enemy’s devices (2 Corinthians 2:11).
We must be sensitive, vigilant, and spiritually armed.

This message exposes the strategies of darkness and equips you to overcome them.

1. WHAT IS EVIL RE-STRATEGIZING?

Evil re-strategizing means:

  • When the enemy revisits old battles.
  • When the enemy upgrades his methods.
  • When darkness gathers fresh information to attack.
  • When the enemy rearranges people or situations to bring harm.
  • When old enemies gather again with new ideas.

The enemy wants to re-strategize because the first attempt failed —
but every attempt will fail again in Jesus’ name.

2. BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF EVIL RE-STRATEGIZING

A. Pharaoh Re-Strategized Against Israel (Exodus 14)

After letting Israel go, Pharaoh re-strategized and gathered his army to pursue them again.
But God drowned the re-strategizers in the Red Sea.

B. Sanballat and Tobiah (Nehemiah 4–6)

They changed tactics:

  • First mockery
  • Then threats
  • Then discouragement
  • Then conspiracy
  • Then false prophecy
All were re-strategized attacks — but Nehemiah stayed focused and overcame.

C. Saul Re-Strategizing Against David (1 Samuel 18–19)

When throwing spears failed, Saul:

  • Sent soldiers
  • Set traps
  • Used his daughter
  • Used fake friendship
Re-strategizing — but David escaped all.

D. Satan Re-Strategizing Against Jesus (Luke 4:13)

The Bible says: “he departed for a season.”
Meaning he returned later with new strategies — but always failed.

3. HOW DO YOU KNOW THE ENEMY IS RE-STRATEGIZING?

You may notice:

  • Battles you already defeated trying to return
  • Old temptations resurfacing
  • Strange dreams or patterns
  • People from your past trying to reconnect with wrong motives
  • Sudden attacks at major breakthroughs
  • Unexplainable pressure or fear
  • Repeated cycles:
    sickness → recovery → sickness
setback → small progress → setback

This means the enemy is reorganizing his plans.

4. WHY DOES THE ENEMY RE-STRATEGIZE?

✔️ 1. Your first victory weakened him

He wants to try again.

✔️ 2. He fears your next level

New levels bring new spiritual aggression.

✔️ 3. He wants to attack at moments of transition

End of the year, birthdays, new jobs, marriages, pregnancies.

✔️ 4. He studies your weaknesses

The devil observes and tries to capitalize on weak moments.

✔️ 5. He wants to delay your prophecy

Re-strategizing is a way to slow you down.

But he will fail.

5. HOW TO OVERCOME EVIL RE-STRATEGIZING

A. Through Prayer (Isaiah 8:10)

“Take counsel together, and it shall come to nothing.”
Any time the enemy gathers to re-plan, God scatters them.

Key prayers:

  • “O Lord, scatter every evil meeting.”
  • “Father, confuse the tongues of the wicked.”
  • “Holy Ghost fire, block every evil rearrangement.”

B. Through Discernment (Proverbs 4:23)

Be spiritually alert.
Not every dream, friend, opportunity, or invitation is innocent.

Discernment exposes hidden plans.

C. Through Obedience to God (Deut. 28:7)

When you walk in righteousness, God fights your re-strategizing enemies for you.

D. Through the Blood of Jesus (Revelation 12:11)

The blood interrupts the communication of darkness.

E. Through the Word of God (Jeremiah 23:29)

The Word destroys every evil blueprint.

F. Through Angelic Intervention (Psalm 91:11)

Angels can disrupt evil meetings, scatter conspiracies, and protect destinies.

6. DECLARATIONS AGAINST EVIL RE-STRATEGIZING

Speak these boldly:

  • “Every evil re-strategizing against my life, scatter by fire.”
  • “Every renewed attack is cancelled.”
  • “My destiny cannot be re-targeted.”
  • “Every conspiracy fails immediately.”
  • “The blood of Jesus interrupts every evil planning.”
  • “I walk in divine preservation.”

7. CONCLUSION

The enemy can plan, but God cancels.
The enemy can gather, but God scatters.
The enemy can re-strategize, but God neutralizes.

Your victory is secured because no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
— Isaiah 54:17

You are unstoppable.
Your destiny is untouchable.
Your family is covered.
Your next level is guaranteed.

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
